Joy Harjo: A Poetry and Music Performance

 

Joy Harjo is a renown poet and musician. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native Writers' Circle of the Americas in 1995, and the PEN Open Book Award in 2002. She is a faculty member of the American Indian Studies Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
